The Blacksmiths Arms folk concerts were held regularly on Sunday evenings.The club was based at Thornwood near Epping in Essex. It was the flagship of  Martin & Kingsbury. Respected throughout the music world the venue was the showcase for the  established as well as the up and coming folk and blues artistes..
